Well.. I'm a smoker that doesn't smoke...! Let me explain.
Runners share many similarities to that of a smoker, except our habit is running! It's an addiction... It's our drug and we have to have it!
- A smoker punishes their body and so does a runner when they push themselves
- A smoker gets irritated when they don't smoke and so does a runner when they can't run
- A smoker wakes up thinking about needing their first cigarette and a runner wakes up thinking about what time to run, where to run etc

I keep getting asked the same question by many clients and members so I'm here to set the record straight on how to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight and how it works!
Let's say you need X amount of calories to live...And for demonstration purposes of this blog... X = 1400 Calories.
These calories are what your body needs to survive. Ie. breath, wake up, work, get your kids ready for school and of course for your systems within the body to function. To make this better understood I want to change the word calories into "ENERGY" |

Have you ever had the "Perfect Run"?
You know the one I'm talking about right?! The one where everything is... Well, Perfect!
You see, majority of runs I find have something not quite right.. "you feel weak today" or "you not had enough water" or you get an annoying stone in your trainer..
Well, yesterday wan't a running day for me it was a strength & conditioning day but I had sort of 45 minutes spare so decided to head out for a quick run! |

stuart at Team Re-Create: Posted on Friday, February 24, 2012 2:46 PM
I was recently checking out some other Fitness Boot Camps across the UK and was suprised at the differences from Re-Create to the rest! Now, I totally believe that what Re-Create offer is the best method by far on the market and the results we constantly get, proves this time and time again! Just last week one of our new boot campers lost a whopping 7lbs in her first week at RCBC! What I found interesting was, those boot camps that are instructed by Personal Trainers without a military background were generally running standard circuit classes. |

Water is an important part of our body’s makeup.
Without regular hydration we can become depleted of the water levels our bodies
crave. As our bootcamp sessions aim to get you sweating, it is essential that
our members are clued up on the importance of hydration and its benefits.
Why do we need water?
Water is responsible for over half of our body
weight . As a result it constantly requires topping up to ensure all bodily
processes run the way they’re supposed to. The amount of fluid lost from the
body depends on both the activity levels of the individual and environmental
temperature and humidity. |

Every instructor at Re-Create Boot Camp are highly trained, professional and
experienced in the health and fitness field.
This may come as a surprise to some boot campers, but when they conduct
each boot camp session, they are not JUST shouting at you all to do more...
They are focussed on form and exercise safety to ensure each rep is performed
correctly.
Now, as much
as we do everything to ensure no injuries occur, sometimes they do. It may be that
one sets off to quick and “pulls” their thigh or strains their neck muscles
doing sit ups or twinges an ankle on the rough ground. |

The Re-Create Residential Boot Camp
Blog
Today is the
last day of our Residential Boot Camp and what an awesome, exhilarating and challenging
week our boot campers have had!
We have put
them through a huge variety of physical activities ranging from high intensity
exercise to low key, long distance endurance training! Our boot campers have experienced emotions
they probably never thought possible, ached in places they never thought
possible and achieved things they never thought possible! |

Talkers Vs Action Takers
One of my colleagues recently blogged about the people in
this world who like to talk the talk but never walks the walk and I thought... What
an awesome topic to blog about too... so, let’s separate the talkers from the
action takers.
How many facebook status’ have you read by people who say
“Diet starts tomorrow” Or, heard people say, I will join the gym next week,
then next week comes and the gym doesn’t!
A lot of people moan about their weight or the way they
look and then do nothing about it! |

MORE BENEFITS AT BOOT CAMP
As we always
say, boot camp improves your health & fitness in so many different ways,
although weight loss is usually at the top of a lot of people’s agenda for
attending boot camp.
I have decided to share some of the other fantastic
benefits of boot camp that can be gained with us!
Boot Campers
are pushed to their limits and then beyond, it isn’t easy, it isn’t supposed to
be easy but getting through every session gives a sense of achievement and an
ambition to do more. |

I've often wondered why I spend hours per week training, keeping fit and eating healthy... Yes I do it because I enjoy it and it makes me feel good and I can wear nice clothes and feel great but in exchange for this I have suffered many exercise induced injuries over the
years and I've often wondered if couch potatoes endure the same consequences of their pastime!
Although I know the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle inside out, and often take for granted how much our body does for us and how well it rewards us if we take good care of it, it always stands out more when our daily circumstances change and we are at the mercy of uncontrollable things. |
