Getting started with a new Fitness regime

Deciding to start a new fitness regime can be one of the best decisions you ever make for your health and overall daily lifestyle.  Committing yourself to lose weight, shape up, reduce your risk of health problems, build self confidence and your self-esteem.

Research suggests that it takes at approximately three weeks to form a good habit. Therefore, before getting started, you must realise that the magic isn’t going to happen overnight and, to get the results you want, you have to pledge your time and make a commitment to YOURSELF! It’s important for you to be as mentally prepared for our program as you are physically.

If you’ve decided Re-Create Boot Camp is for you, you need to identify your fitness goals.  Consider both short term and long term goals, your capabilities and perceived limitations.  In addition to your days at Re-Create Boot Camp, you must also stay active outside of Boot Camp!  I don’t just mean physically... I’m talking about the mental game...

Temptation can be hard, after all we are only human and typically, the majority of us can and will break!  Everyone has their weakness whether it’s wine, choccy or takeaway!  
     
Believe it or not, but just because we train like ninjas at Re-Create Boot Camp, it doesn’t necessarily qualify us to indulge in some serious snack time during the x Factor! Especially those that are wanting weight loss! 

Remember, the 700 calories you burn at Re-Create Boot Camp need to remain off to ensure weight loss, going and putting them back in via shang hi’s finest isn’t the way to ensure you get to your goals!

Next you need to make sure you have the right equipment to get started... our survival guide will help with that!

Now you’re ready.  Get a good night sleep and get out there and get started.  Accept you’ll have setbacks but remember each and every day presents an opportunity for a new beginning or further progress.  Track your progress, hold yourself accountable and remember to always have fun.
