Emotions During Physical Exertion I ran what I thought was a tough 10km today... Although the run itself didn’t affect me, it was the toughest run I had undertaken in a while... Mentally! As I ran, I wondered what our boot campers feel during RCBC sessions or indeed during there own training sessions and runs... You see, today, I set off in my head thinking I will run an easy 5km followed by a slightly faster 10km but not race pace. The first 3km were OK, I felt good in my body, legs felt strong as I am doing some awesome leg sessions in preparation for upcoming races! |

Re-Create Product
Review
Salomon Speed Cross 2
Having been a Salomon
Speed Cross user over the last 18 months and trialled a lot of other trail/fell
trainers over the years I have to admit this trainer has been one I have stuck
with and would totally recommend for Re-Create Boot Camp!
As well as being
super light weight, the shoe is well cushioned and very responsive to most
things thrown at it such as sharp turns, varying gradients, mud, grass, soil
and rock/rubble terrain. The rubber
studded sole holds well and the true to fit sizes hold the foot/ankle tight and
secure over uneven & wet terrain. |

I was recently chatting with a Re-Create Boot Camper about
how she is finding it, being a part of Re-Create Boot Camp. Her answer was this: “I feel like I am a part
of something”
That statement played on my mind for a while which urged me
to write this article. You see, when I
set out to build Re-Create Boot Camp, I looked back on past boot camps I had
ran... I looked at other boot camps in the area and how they go about doing the
stuff they do.
Having gained as much information as I could, not to mention
the amount of gyms I have worked in as a Personal Trainer and Gym Manager. |

Re-Create Boot Camp
Hellvelyn Expedition
On a mild Sunday morning of 9 October 2012, 15
of our dedicated Re-Create boot campers met at Lymm services ready to head off
in convoy for a day in the mountains.
No one could quite believe what the day had in store for us!
After a nice drive down with our two favourite Knutsford
Campers, Lucy and Zoe and our hockey ninja, Jacko... We were soon arriving at Patterdale
Car Park surrounded by mountains with a lovely grey skies looming down on us
while the fog clung to the top of the mountain tops awaiting our arrival. |

Getting started with a new Fitness regime
Deciding to start a new fitness regime can be one of the best
decisions you ever make for your health and overall daily lifestyle.
Committing yourself to lose weight, shape up, reduce your risk of health
problems, build self confidence and your self-esteem.
Research suggests that it takes at approximately three weeks
to form a good habit. Therefore, before getting started, you must realise that
the magic isn’t going to happen overnight and, to get the results you want, you
have to pledge your time and make a commitment to YOURSELF! |

Water is an important part of our body’s makeup.
Without regular hydration we can become depleted of the water levels our bodies
crave. As our bootcamp sessions aim to get you sweating, it is essential that
our members are clued up on the importance of hydration and its benefits.
Why do we need water?
Water is responsible for over half of our body
weight . As a result it constantly requires topping up to ensure all bodily
processes run the way they’re supposed to. The amount of fluid lost from the
body depends on both the activity levels of the individual and environmental
temperature and humidity. |

Every instructor at Re-Create Boot Camp are highly trained, professional and
experienced in the health and fitness field.
This may come as a surprise to some boot campers, but when they conduct
each boot camp session, they are not JUST shouting at you all to do more...
They are focussed on form and exercise safety to ensure each rep is performed
correctly.
Now, as much
as we do everything to ensure no injuries occur, sometimes they do. It may be that
one sets off to quick and “pulls” their thigh or strains their neck muscles
doing sit ups or twinges an ankle on the rough ground. |

The Re-Create Residential Boot Camp
Blog
Today is the
last day of our Residential Boot Camp and what an awesome, exhilarating and challenging
week our boot campers have had!
We have put
them through a huge variety of physical activities ranging from high intensity
exercise to low key, long distance endurance training! Our boot campers have experienced emotions
they probably never thought possible, ached in places they never thought
possible and achieved things they never thought possible! |
