Hi Claire, only four weeks into your training with Re-create Boot Camp and already a huge weight loss of 12 pounds......Is the proof in the pudding so to speak?Hi, Yes four weeks I have been coming to RCBC. I had lost a few pounds before I started but it was taking ages for the weight to come off. As soon as I started RCBC not only did the weight start to come off a lot quicker but everything started toning up too.
After your free trial week, what were your reasons for deciding to become a full member with RCBC?
I knew after the first session that I wanted to sign up because I realised this training would be a great kick up the behind for me! Its easy to join the gym and then only do 20 minutes and get bored, but with RCBC......You are there for the full hour, no slacking!
How do you find the social side of life with Re-create Boot Camp?
Everyone are really friendly and supportive. I feel at each session I am among friends.
We are creeping through December, how are you fairing up in these colder months?
It is definitely getting a lot colder but I don't mind as much because I am not sweating as much.
How would you describe the instructors at RCBC?
The instructors kick my butt!!! Seriously though, they are so professional but are so encouraging. A few choice words from you guys can really spur me on when I am flagging.
What are your goals for the future months ahead as 2012 is looming closer?
I have lots of goals for 2012.....I want to be fitter at 41 than I was at 21! I am taking part in a few runs and challenges so making sure I am physically capable of doing those is definitely at the top of my list to.
What have your friends and family said about your quick Boot Camp success?
I think all my family and friends are very proud of the effort I am putting in and surprised that I am sticking to it!!

Hi Jan... You are our Lymm Boot Camper of the month for August! How are you feeling?When I found out I was very surprised and very pleased in equal measures. I see so many people worthy of the award I'm flattered I got it.
You have been coming to boot camp for a good few months now, how has it changed your life?
Before I joined RCBC in January my health, fitness and weight were becoming real issues for me. I knew that I had to make some effort and do something about them or they were only going to get worse. I had heard about bootcamp from friends but didn't really fancy it. Then in the New Year I made the decision to go and give it a try, and as the saying goes, I haven't looked back since. I am now nearly two stones lighter, much fitter and very happy indeed!
What has been your best memory of Re-create bootcamp to date?
This is hard as there have been a few. Catching eggs and water balloons both spring to mind but I think learning to gate vault was special for me, I didn't think I'd ever get over it soldier style.
On some weeks, you get to us 5 times a week, What motivates you to keep coming back week in week out?
I love the results I get from doing it. I don't find the sessions easy and I don't always look forward to going but the feeling I get at the end of the session is fantastic. I also like the people who go and the humour between the staff and the bootcampers. I like the support, encouragement and motivation ywe receive from both staff and fellow bootcampers during the sessions.
How would you describe Re-Create Boot Camp to someone interested in joining us?
I would describe RCBC as outdoor, all weather, hard but fun and very rewarding exercise sessions that are suitable for everyone, as the sessions are managed to suit all levels of health and fitness.
Where would you rate RCB in relation to other fitness systems on the market?
For me it would be at the top. Over the years I have done several different exercise classes and been a member of a couple of gyms but I have never worked as hard as I do at RCBC and have never enjoyed the level of fitness I'm at now. I have recently watched a different bootcamp session and it wasn't run at half the intensity ofours so I think I've joined the best one!
Lastly, would you recommend RCB?
I already have! I would say to anyone who wants get fit and lose a few pounds you will at RCBC.

Hi Suzie! You are one of our recently joined Altrincham Boot Campers! How are you finding it?
Loving it! When I pitched up that thursday morning three months ago I had no idea what to expect, I was out of practice with exercise and a bit terrified I would have a miserable time, couldn't be further from the truth. Stu was so encouraging and I really enjoyed it.
What benefits are you getting from RCB?
I can do sit ups!! My overall fitness has improved a lot and after months of saying I'd start running RCB has motivated me to do that too.
How often are you attending each week?
Three times a week at Alti, then Lymm sat abs whenever possible-which is not as often as I'd like. To be honest I be there more often if it wasn't around my boys bedtime!
What keeps you coming back for more?
It is such good fun!! Each session is different and the support and camaraderie is great! Instructors are ace, very encouraging and each with their own little "encouraging" phrases, always amusing to hear any news ones!! Oh and there is the fact that it really works!
If you were to tell a complete stranger about RCB, what would you say?
It's addictive! You will do exercises you've never heard of (as well as many you have) and find yourself aching where you did not know you had muscles! You'll have fun and feel the benefits amazingly quickly.
You have just signed up to the Manchester Urbanathlon with some fellow boot campers! Do you think RCB has helped get you to the level of fitness required for such a task?!
I hope so! I would NEVER have considered (or been capable of) doing something like this before bootcamp, it's given me the confidence to try something completely new. Training outdoors is loads better then the gym and I'm sure RCB works every bit of your body so can't think of better preparation.
What's your funniest memory of RCB so far?
It's hard to choose between two throw and catch Lymm abs sessions - eggs one week water bombs another! The first wheelbarrow race we did at Alti was pretty funny too. And any session incorporating a leprechaun (leprecrawl) is always ridiculously funny!!
Can you sum RCB up in 3 words?
That's hard! Fun, challenging, rewarding
Finally, would you recommend RCB?
Without a doubt! If you want to improve your fitness and have fun can't think of a better way and Stu (and the other instructors) are really good at getting you to put in 110%, I know I would never work as hard in the gym on my own.

Hi Julie and Dave.. You are one of our married boot camp couples! How are you both enjoying RC Boot Camp?
We are both having a fabulous time at RC Boot camp , exercising together rather than stuck in separate gym routines. We are actually changing some of our weekly plans to make sure we can attend.
What benefits are you finding from RC Boot Camp?
J: It's been great making new friends and I never dreamed I would be motivated to start running with another boot camp member between sessions. I feel that my all round fitness has improved substantially
D: It is helping me make the effort to exercise regularly and have fun doing it , even on freezing muddy nights after a long days work . My body shape is starting to change for the better and my general fitness is really improving.
Are you a competitive couple?
Yes and no , we love the team games and banter but support each other in getting fit
How has RC Boot Camp changed your lives as a married couple?
We love spending the evening rolling around in the mud together ! We are spending more time together exercising and laughing despite being pushed hard by the instructors. It is great to feel we have both achieved something at the end of a session.
What has been your most memorable moment at RC Boot Camp to date?
Tactical Advance to Pub on "evil mondays" - without a doubt , a good workout followed by a fun social and the first chance we have had to get know some of the muddy faces we have been suffering with in Jan and Feb.
Would you recommend RC Boot Camp to others?
Absolutely and we have already done so and they are similarly addicted ! We never imagined that being shouted at by ex-army instructors would be such fun. They push us hard but are supportive and the banter is great.
If you could descrive RCB in 3 words what would they be?
Fun, challenging, teamwork

Hi Kathy, You are literally one of our longest serving boot campers! Are you still enjoying as much as when you started?I can honestly say I love it! It has been one of the best life changing experiences I have ever done! I started on the very 1st session held in Lymm because I was a working mum of two young children (no me time), had a caesarean tummy and my weight had always been an issue. Enough was enough; I could no longer make any more excuses! I must admit it was a real shock at my first Boot Camp session at how unfit I had become and that’s what has kept me coming, along with the amazing people I have met and supportive instructors. More importantly I am a happier and contented person.
You have lost 2 stone and 2 dress sizes since joining RC Boot Camp and over 10% body fat... what’s next for you at RC Boot Camp?
It has taken me 6 months of gradual weight loss to reach my initial goal of loosing over 2 stone, but I have also lost a total of 67.5 cm over my body and 14% body fat! More than what I had dreamed of. So what’s next? Continue to go to Boot Camp and increase my fitness level even more! Hopefully even speed up with my running.
Not only have you had an amazing weight loss success, you have now taken up running and entered the Manchester 10km?
I often joke with friends at Boot Camp that I couldn’t run ¼ of a football pitch when I first started. Now I can’t believe that I can run 10k and aim to run it in approx. an hour. I’ve not only entered the Man. 10k, but also the ‘Wild Thing’ 10k with an assault course. I never would have been able to do this without Boot Camp and ‘the girls’.
What keeps you coming back to boot camp?
I know it is working!! I am continuing to increase my fitness levels and improve my health.
How would you describe RC Boot Camp?
Hard work, fun and extremely rewarding.
What would you say to someone who was thinking of joining RC boot camp?
Come along, you too could achieve your own personal goals with the support of the instructors and the friendly atmosphere. If I can do it, everyone else can!
What has been your funniest or best memory of RC Boot Camp to date?
There are funny moments at every Boot Camp, from hilarious comments by fellow B. Campers to seeing the disbelief in a Policeman’s face watching us running up and down Dane Bank Road one Saturday morning in the pouring rain.
My best memory is exercising in the snow in my wellies (not one of my better ideas).
Has RC Boot Camp changed your life?
It has not only changed my life, but my whole families. It has helped me to cope with a stressful period in my work, overcome a health issue and increased my confidence. I am now a happier person with a lot more energy for my family. My children and husband are really proud of my achievements and have now taken up cycling plus karate to try and keep up with mummy.

From having put on 4 stone, its taken me two years to battle to get my weight back to the same place prior to pregnancy. The last stone has been the hardest to loose. I then heard about Re-create fitness. I've attended the last four weeks, four sessions a week and following the simple and effective diet plan. Wow! What great results I've seen! Not only has the whole experience been fun, I've made new friends, enjoyed being fitter and also eaten healthier, felt better and lost the weight and centimetres in the areas that meant I could fit into my clothes again. You will see the results in just 4 weeks!! I had been running for the past year and not seen any change in my weight or size, but Stuarts fitness regime hits the right spots!
Every session is different - so again your body doesn't get used to the exercise - which is what really works. We are creatures of habit and if you are a member of a gym or go to exercise classes - we more than likely do similar patterns which is why these don't have the same benefits. Plus exercising outside (in all weathers) is very liberating. If you want to make a change to your body today, don't hesitate to join Re-create fitness - it will help you change your life for the better.

I have always known that the best way to slim down is to move more and eat less, but knowing this hasn’t stopped me from trying quick fixes in the past. I have joined many a slimming club only to feel deprived, de-motivated and frustrated after only a few weeks. When it came to exercise I have also used any excuse I could think of, too tired, too busy, too expensive. Then I was introduced to Stuart and re-create fitness. I have just completed 4 weeks of training and loved it so much I have signed up for 6 more months. Every training session was fun, energetic and varied. Stuart has a great ability of getting the most out of everyone, you will leave the session tired and sweaty but I guarantee you will still be smiling and looking forward to the next session. My fitness levels have improved so much and I have noticed massive changes in not only my body but also my mind. While my waistline has shrunk my self esteem has grown. All those excuses I used to make are long gone, now I make the time to attend boot camp and rather than being tired I have more energy than ever before, as for the expense I now prefer to call it an investment and who better to invest in than yourself.

I was already pretty active when I joined Re-Create Bootcamp, and whilst I was interested to experience a different type of activity, I wasn't holding out any hope that I'd stick at it. Having now attended at least 3 times a week for the last 6 weeks I have to admit I'm a convert! Within 4 weeks I was toned in areas that I hadn't managed to tone in 2 years of running. And whilst I am fairly self-motivated, I find it so much easier to have someone esle pushing you further than you may yourself (that last lap or set of reps). I've found myself aching in places I didn't even know I had muscles! I am most definitely a fair-weather person (!) but it's amazing how quickly you get used to coming home caked in mud, but feeling invigorated nonetheless. Stuart is fantastic at getting the most out of you, no matter what your fitness level, and whilst he never lets you quit he's also really encouraging and friendly. It also helps that you're doing the class with a group of like-minded souls, who want to get fit but not at the expense of fun. You may ache more than you've ever ached during exercise, but you'll be laughing a lot more too. Thanks Stuxx

MOTIVATION.MOTIVATION,MOTIVATION !!!!.Thats what to expect at Stu s bootcamp and you get to meet some nice people along the way. Make no bones about it , its hard work but the more you put in the more you WILL get out.I have exercised for most of my life and became routine with my training (up to 6hrs /week) but with just 3 bootcamp sessions weekly i noticed a definate difference in my body tone and fitness level, My favourite quote of the moment is" If life isnt giving you the right answers ,start asking some different questions!" This also applies to nutrition and exercise .This time the difference paid off for me . I would definately recommend this -Try It . You have nothing to lose (only inches) Thanks Stu.

I am not sure if I was in the right place at the wrong time or the right place at the right time when I met Stuart in Cadishead Park car park one Tuesday night. I can also not really remember how he managed to talk me in to committing to a 4 week boot camp trial (3 nights a week) but there I was lay in the mud by the side of Lymm Dam wondering why I was there !!!!
I can now tell you why I was there because going to boot camp has not only benefited my greatly physically but even more so with regard to a great feeling of well being. I now have much more energy and a more positive approach to any challenges that may come along all because I feel so much fitter.
Stuart is a great motivator and make no mistake the sessions are very challenging but also very enjoyable with a great group and we all have great fun together. My training is now part of my weekly routine – so thanks Stuart”

I joined Re-Create Fitness Boot Camp not really knowing what to expect and I never thought that I would love it so much. I never thought being shouted at by a man could be so much fun!!! Within a few weeks I have lost weight and toned up all over my body particularly my arms - the dreaded "bingo wings" have firmed up and are not as wobbly! I have noticed a huge difference in my general fitness level too.
Stuart is really motivating and pushes me harder than I would normally do in the gym plus it is really good to be exercising outside. Every class is varied there is no chance to get bored! Thankyou!

Stuart has a way of making you lose weight, get fit and have fun all at the same time. I had put on 2 stone and was feeling very unfit. Stuart 's 4 week plan and fitness regime has made me look at what I was eating and how lazy I was at present. Now after 4 weeks on my clothes fit I have lost lots of inch's. I have noticed a difference in my body shape and I am now going to maintain the new me.
